This first book for baby is made of plush fabric, with crinkle sheets inside for fun. One side of the book is black and white for your baby's first days, and colour for when your baby gets older. The designs are by artist Surya Sajnani.
Surya is a graphic designer with a background in Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Along side her husband Dave Pinto, who was a teacher, they were fascinated by the idea of helping their baby’s brain develop by literally playing with visuals. They have created a planet of animals, which were designed to entertain and educate, taking into account each stage of development.
This soft plush buggy or stroller book is made of polyester cloth and filling.
With contrasting bold colours filled with a Green Grasshopper, Brown Snail, Purple Butterfly, Red Lady Bug, Yellow Bee, Blue Bird and an Orange Cat.
Did you know that babies develop in so many ways during their first five years that it dwarfs everything they learn over the rest of their lives?
Newborns can only see as far as 12 to 15 inches away (around the length of your forearm and hand)
They are most taken with their parents’ faces.
They are drawn to simple but repeating geometric shapes in black and white and at around 6 months of age, they begin to recognise animal forms, later calling them by name.
This is a gorgeous boo to give as a gift that will transition from birth to toddler years.
